On the S-facing slope of a ridge (long-axis c. NE-SW), in mixed woodland, having good views NE-NW and overlooked by a cashel (CL035-083----) c. 40m to NE. Listed in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996) as 'Enclosure'. A circular area (28m NE-SW; 26m NW-SE) defined by a substantial stone wall (int. H 1.2m; ext. H 1.6m; Wth at top 1.5m; overall Wth 8.6m) which is covered in moss and light vegetation. There is a gap (base Wth 4m; overall Wth 6.5m) at S. A trackway (long-axis NE-SW) skirts the exterior of the monument at ESE. The interior is accessible and has a gentle S-facing slope. Some relatively young trees are located within the interior, on the bank and around the exterior. A small quarried depression is adjacent to the bank exterior at NW.
