What is recorded here

On display in Clare Museum, Ennis. A small irregularly shaped sandstone block (H 0.27m; Wth 0.2m; T 0.05m) with a plain incised cross continuing right to the edges of the stone. The horizontal line of the cross is not quite at right angles to the vertical line. Originally from within the remains of a church (CL021a005001-) on Illaunmore Island in Lough Derg (Gleeson 1955, 57). See original location record (CL021a005006-). CL033-189----_01.jpg attached.
