Situated in the W and N ranges of the Franciscan Friary (CL033-082001-) within Ennis historic town (CL033-082----). The refectory and dormitory of the friary W and N ranges were converted for use in the 17th century. The restaurant and public house now occupying the premises was extensively renovated in 2008. It retains the pitched 17th century slate roof and staircase and incorporates some of the late medieval fabric of the original buildings. (RPS 2013, 48)
