This record is for the original location of an inscribed stone from a house built by George Stacpoole in the 17th century. The stone was originally in Mill Street, Ennis (now Parnell Street) but the precise location on the street is unknown. It was for a time in Edenvale (Westropp 1895-7, 38) (CL041-059----) but it is presently in the restored tower house at Dysert O’Dea (CL025-095002-) (Ó Murchadha 1991, 33-4).
