What is recorded here

This record is for a 17th-century house known, from an inscribed and dated stone (see CL033-082018-/CL025-095009-), to have been built by George Stacpole in 1687 and to have been on Parnell Street within Ennis historic town (CL033-082----). (Westropp 1895-7, 38; Bradley, Halpin and King 1988, 50; Ó Dálaigh 2012, 24) Compiled by: Mary Tunney Date of upload: 14 May 2014

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
