Situated at 24-26 O’Connell Street between Quin’s Bow and Cook’s Lane within Ennis Historic town (CL033-082----). These two two-storey buildings with dormer attics, now occupied by Maurer’s Jewellers and Brogan’s Public House were probably originally one house similar to Cruise’s on Abbey Street (CL033-082002-) with chimney stacks in each gable. One triple row, Jacobean-style, early 17th-century chimney stack is visible on the S gable of Maurer’s. The other two are cemented over. The façade was remodelled in the 19th century.
