Situated on a slight rise in a karst landscape with a turlough c. 80m to the NW. A circular scrub-covered area (int. diam. 26.2m N-S; 24.3m E-W) defined by a stone spread (Wth 3.4m at E to 6.7m at N; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H 0.2-0.8m generally to 2m at N), which is reduced to a stony scarp (H 0.3m) down to the interior S-SW. Facing stones are intermittently visible, especially outer facing stones at N, but the original width cannot be measured. The original entrance cannot be identified. A rath (CL033-077----) lies c. 70m to the SW.
