Situated at the bottom of a gentle NW-facing slope overlooking the Claureen River, c. 140m to the NW. A D-shaped grass-covered area (int. dims. 32m E-W; 22m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5-4m; int. H 0.4-1m; ext. H 0.4-1m) with whitethorn bushes W-E but it is truncated by an E-W field wall and does not survive S of this feature. There are traces of a wall on the bank at W, and perhaps elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or entrance. A cashel (CL033-079----) lies c. 70m to the NE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 25 April 2017
