At the bottom of a W-facing slope, and just on the E bank of a SE-NW stream. A circular drystone well (diam. 0.9m) with a concrete superstructure which houses offerings. The well is open to the W and there are six white-painted pebbles at the opening. The well is surrounded by a gravel path that is becoming overgrown, and is within a rectangular enclosure (int. dims. 14.4m NW-SE; 12.75m NE-SW) defined by a hedge, with some mature conifer trees inside the perimeter. Locally, it is thought to have a cure for eye complaints and to have a pattern in September or October.
