Listed as 'Enclosure' in the RMP (1996). Situated on a SE-facing slope in pasture. A subcircular earthen enclosure (diam. 24m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by a low wide earthen bank (Wth 3.5-4.1m; H 0.2-0.4m) reduced to a barely visible scarp at NE. Two gaps at NNW and SE (both 1m) are very denuded and may not be original. The interior slopes gently to S and is clear of overgrowth. Rising ground immediately to the N gives the false impression of a fosse.
