Situated against the N wall of the nave of St. Mary’s church (CL029-009008-) on Inis Cealtra and 3.3m from the W gable. Noted by Macalister (1916-17, 158, no. 65) as of ‘twelfth-century type’ and described as a slab measuring 1ft 10in (0.55m) by 1ft 9in (0.53m) by 3.5in (0.08m) showing the upper part of a Latin cross with hollowed angles. In Macalister’s time it marked a grave outside the W end of St. Mary’s.
