In level bog, overlooked by slightly higher, gently undulating landscape of pasture and rough pasture. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. This monument was identified as an oval anomaly on satellite imagery (https://binged.it/2mApwPS, accessed 7 March 2017). It consists of an oval area (21m N-S; 18m E-W) defined by a low ring of heathers and bog myrtle (Wth 3.5m; H 0.3m) at WNW-NNE which may delineate the remains of a levelled bank. The interior is level and similar to the surrounding bog being covered in low heathers, sedge, bog asphodel, bog cotton and sphagnum moss. A similar possible enclosure (CL027-055----) is located c. 27m to N.
