At the base of a W-facing slope, in a wet and scrubby oblong depression, immediately E of the Kiltanon River. It is depicted and named as ‘Toberbreedia’ on all OS historic mapping. According to Curry (OSL, vol. 2, 1839, 283), ‘there is another holy well dedicated to St Bridget in the townland of Kiltannon, at which stations still continue to be performed’. This well is not visible at ground level and is likely to have been blocked up. A tree has fallen across this area in recent times.
