On a broad NE-SW ridge in unreclaimed hazel scrub. Hachured as a rath on the 1840 and 1920 OS 6-inch maps. On the Cassini (1920) edition it is shown as truncated by the NE-SW townland boundary between Cloona and Ballycullinan. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). On inspection in 1999 it was too densely overgrown to establish the existence or otherwise of an archaeological monument.
