The graveyard at Ruan church (CL025-070001-) is pentagonal in shape (c. 100m N-S; max. 62m E-W), defined by a masonry wall (H 1-1.4m). It is well cared for and extended to the W. It contains many 19th and 20th century graves and a mausoleum to the N of the church built for the O’Loghlen family of north Clare.
