On a NW-facing slope beside a stream in marshy land with conifer plantations nearby. Overlooked by higher ground to E and SE. Hachured as a ringfort on the 1840 OS 6-inch map and not indicated on later editions. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Inspection in 1999 found no visible trace of a monument at ground level. No visible traces on any available aerial imagery (2024).
