At the top of a low wide ridge NE-SW ridge in fertile pasture with higher ground to SE and good views to NW. Hachured as a large oval ringfort (c. 45m NW-SE; c. 35m NE-SW) on the 1840 OS 6-inch map. On inspection in 1999 there were no visible remains at ground level.
