In an area of exposed karst and scrub overgrowth. Hachured on both the first (1842) and Cassini (1920) editions of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). This suboval cashel (int. diam. 25.2m E-W; ext. diam. 28.6m) is defined by a collapsed double-faced drystone wall (dims. at W: Wth 1.3m; int. H 1m; ext. H 0.4m), which has been rebuilt from S-SW. A gap (Wth 3.4m) in the collapsed wall at E is lined on its N side by an upright stone (H 0.9m; L 0.8m; T 0.2m) and is likely the original entrance, with its N side surviving intact but widened at the S. The uneven interior of rock outcrop slopes down to the E.
