In wet pastureland on the W side of a S-flowing stream, with hazel woods immediately to the W and Shandangan Lough c. 140m to the S. A small grass-covered mound (diam. 2.5m; H 0.5m) of burnt stone may be the remains of a fulacht fia. Two other fulachta fia (CL017-083001- and CL017-083002-) lie just across the stream to the E.
