Near the bottom of a NE-facing slope, in improved pasture. Hachured on both the first (1842) and Cassini (1920) editions of the OS 6-inch map. Also hachured on the intervening, larger scale OS 25-inch plan (1897) which records a subcircular enclosure (est. diams. c. 38m E-W; c. 33m N-S) defined by an enclosing bank from SW-W-N and at SE. Elsewhere, the enclosing element is shown to be a scarp. When inspected in 1999, no visible surface traces were obvious.
