On the inner face at the E end of the S wall of Killinaboy church (CL017-020001-). This memorial stone (H 2.44m; Wth 1.75m) comprises a square upper stone carved with a now lime-encrusted shield and mantling. Westropp (1894, 28) recorded the following inscription:
DERMOD O'NEILAN AND TEIG O'NEILAN HIS BROTH
ER, FOR THEM AND THEIR H
EIRES, MADE THIS SEPULC
HER, 1645.
Above the inscription is a panel decorated with finely carved low-relief heads and foliate patterns. Beneath the ledge under the inscription is another finely carved low-relief decorative panel of geometric patterns, partly obscured by the edge of a modern grave (Gilmore 1999, 31-32). There is an O’Flanagan memorial stone (CL017-020011-) on the same wall, nearby to the W.
