What is recorded here

The surviving remains are as described in de Valera and Ó Nualláin (1961, 52, Cl. 63) except that most of the monument is covered in scrub and only the interior of the chamber is visible. The attached image (CL016-048----_01) was taken in May 1952 and shows the monument to be largely clear of vegetation. The second image (CL016-048----_02) was taken in June 2013. See linked document with details from Ruaidhrí de Valera and Seán Ó Nualláin, Survey of the Megalithic Tombs of Ireland. Volume I. County Clare. (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1961) Compiled by: Paul Walsh Date of upload: 26 June 2013
