On the base of a flat valley c. 80m to the E of Leamaneh Castle walled garden (CL016-032001-) and with a complex of monuments including a ring-barrow (CL016-037----) and ring-ditch (CL016-182----) on Knockloon Hill rising c. 450m to the S. Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. Listed as ‘enclosure’ in the RMP (1996).
A grassed-over subrectangular stony mound (12.5m N-S; 12m E-W; H 0.4-0.7m), highest at S, with a flat top (diam. 10m) and a raised upper edge (H 0.1-0.2m).
