In an unreclaimed area on the S edge of a shelf at the foot of Ballyganner Hill within an extensive field system (CL009-059001-). Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996).
A circular area (ext. dims. 26.2m N-S; 26.2m E-W) defined by a stone spread and drystone-walling (ext. H 0.8-1.4m). The outer wall-face is well defined but is largely obscured with scrub and spill. A build up of material in the interior is level with the inner edge of the stone spread which defines the perimeter, except at the S where the stone spread rises 0.8m above the interior. A cashel (CL016-020014-) and an enclosure (CL016-020035-) are located c. 17m and c. 55m to the SE respectively. A cashel (CL016-020012-) and souterrain (CL016-020041-) are located c. 95m to the SW.
