In a low-lying position in undulating pasture with higher ground all around, sloping to the SE and within an extensive field system (CL009-059001-). Hachured on the 1916 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. A D-shaped area (ext. dims. 31.7m N-S; 31m E-W) defined by a grassed-over stone spread (Wth 1.7-2.7m; H 0.3-0.5m) from S to E. A straight scarp (Wth 5m; L 4.5m; H 1.5m) from E to S may be natural and there is no stone spread along here. A gap at W (Wth 1.2m) has a large stone on its N side possibly marking an entrance. A second gap at SW may not be original. An internal subdivision (10.5m E-W; 4.1m N-S) inside the N perimeter is defined by a stone spread (Wth 1.5m). Another enclosure (CL016-020009-) is located c. 57m to the NE.
