Within a cashel (CL016-019001-) in a low-lying area of limestone pavement amid scrub and brambles and uncleared pasture and within an extensive field system (CL009-059001-). Overlooked from all sides. Indicated on the 1916 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and on the 1897 OS 25-inch map. An area (c. 8m x 8m) in the NW quadrant at present ground level has limestone slabs and uprights including two lengths (L 3m; H 0.6m) of upright stones lying parallel (1m apart). There are some holes (D 1m) in the surface also in this area. This may represent the remains of a souterrain. Another cashel (CL016-018----) is located c. 88m to the WNW.
