This record is for one of two houses depicted in a townland named ‘Balligady west’ on the Down Survey barony map of Corcomroe (1655-8) viewable at https://downsurvey.tchpc.tcd.ie/down-survey-maps.php. The houses are depicted a short distance SW of a mill (CL015-067----) however their exact location is unknown.
