On the summit of a prominent hill in partly drained pasture with clear views in all directions. Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 eds. OS 6-inch maps. A bowl-barrow comprising a central flat-topped mound (diam. 11.5m N-S; 11.4m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.65-1.2m), a fosse (Wth 1.4-4m; ext. D 0.25-0.9m), and an external flat-topped bank (Wth at base 2.7m; Wth at top 0.90m; ext. H 0.3m). At NNE stone-facing slabs are evident along the edge of the mound. An entrance gap (Wth 2.55m) flanked by two upright stones is present in the bank at WSW with a causeway (Wth 1.8m) crossing the fosse. The larger (S) upright slab measures 0.5m x 0.6m.
