What is recorded here

Listed in the SMR (1992) on the basis of an annotation by Thomas Westropp on his copy of the first edition (1842) of the OS 6-inch map, where he recorded ‘2 dolmens’ (SMR file) at a location just to the NW of a megalithic structure (CL012-010----). It was not located during an inspection of the area in 1999.    Compiled by Conn Herriott and Gearóid Conroy   Date of upload: 2-10-2025

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
