What is recorded here

In a hollow in the upper slope of a ridge in mixed exposed limestone and rough pasture, and within a relict field system (CL006-164----). Listed as ‘Hut site’ in the RMP (1996) on the basis of information from Tom Coffey (SMR file). Upon inspection of the area in 1999, no visible remains were found, other than a very small modern rectangular collection of stones against a rock-face, within an irregular modern enclosure. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
