On level ground in a semi-karst area with dense hazel scrub. Indicated 1920 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Identified by Tom Coffey in 1994 (SMR file), who described it as a ‘small burial mound’ or ‘enclosure’. This enclosure was too overgrown to be described in full at the time of an inspection in 1999; however, a short stretch of curving moss-covered wall (Wth 1m; int. H 1m; ext. H 0.8m) was visible at the S, as were intermittent sections of possible outer wall-face (H 0.3-0.5m) along the perimeter at W-E.
