In low-lying damp ground in pasture, with a pond 8m to the N. Within an area marked as ‘Liable to Floods’ on the 1842 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Indicated on Robinson’s (1977) map. This large fulacht fia comprises an overgrown horseshoe-shaped mound (c. 14m E-W; 11m N-S; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.2m) which is open to the N (3.4m E-W; 2m N-S currently). Some burnt stone and ash is exposed in the mound. The N edge of the mound is cut by a later E-W running wall and trackway. There is another fulacht fia (CL010-107----) c. 122m to the S.
