On slightly uneven rocky ground in hazel and rough pasture near the NW edge of a plateau, with a cliff (H c. 5m) c. 15m to the NW. Commanding wide views out W-NE. This subrectangular enclosure (int. dims. 42m NNW-SSE; 29m ENE-WSW) is defined by a relatively modern drystone wall (H c. 1.3m) at the N and W, and by a wide band of stone collapse (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1m) at the S. These sides of the enclosure are largely overgrown by hazel. The clearer E side is defined by a substantial wall (Wth 1.2m) and associated collapse (combined Wth 3m) and this wall is shared with an adjoining enclosure (CL010-096002-) to the E. There is a souterrain (CL010-096003-) in the SE sector of the interior.
