On the SW end of a narrow spur (on the 300’ contour) in improved pasture. Not recorded as an antiquity on OS mapping but indicated on Robinson's map of the Burren (1977). Listed as ‘Cashel’ in the RMP (1996). This oval enclosure (int. dims. 38m N-S; 34m E-W) is defined by an almost levelled earth and stone bank (av. Wth 2.2-3m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.6-1.1m) which is lowest W-NNW, where it appears to be composed more of earth than elsewhere. Mature trees and bushes grow on the perimeter N-E-SW. The grass-covered interior slopes gently to the NNW.
An enclosure (CL010-077----) lies c. 230m to the NW and another (CL010-202----) c.200m to the WSW.
