What is recorded here

On damp ground in hazel and rough pasture with a small stream flowing NNW-SSE just to the W. Marked on Robinson’s (1977) map. This well-preserved fulacht fia comprises a horseshoe-shaped mound (12m N-S; 12m E-W; int. H 0.7-1.4m; ext. H 0.6-1.5m) with an opening (5.7m N-S; 3m E-W) to the N. A semicircular area (c. 8m N-S; c. 6m E-W; H c. 1m) immediately to the E may be an extension or possibly another fulacht. A low stony subcircular hummock (3.6m E-W; 2.5m N-S; H 0.2-0.6m) on the W bank of the small stream, several metres to the WSW may possibly be another. There are three identified fulachta fia nearby 4m to the NE (CL010-074002-), c. 17m to the E (CL010-074003-) and c. 117m to the ESE (CL010-074004-).
