On an exposed, S-sloping ridge with panoramic views, within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL009-084001-). This tall, broad, standing stone (H 2.2m; Wth 2.55m; T 0.4-0.5m) of limestone is aligned E-W. It has a triangular-shaped profile, the top sloping downwards from E to W. It bears cracks/fissures on its N and S faces and its W end is more weathered than the E. Several fragments of the standing stone lie around its base at NE, E and W and there are two small sections of exposed bedrock nearby to N and S. A cairn (CL010-047017-) lies c. 178m to the ENE.
