What is recorded here

On level rough grazing, scrub and exposed limestone pavement with higher ground to the W. This is one of an alignment (SE-NW) of four penitential stations (along with CL010-026003-; CL010-026005- and CL010-026006-) with the closest located c. 8m to the SE (CL010-026003-) and c. 8m to the NW (CL010-026005-). A tall, roughly circular drystone cairn (H 1.3-1.6m; diam. 2m) carries a marking flag at N and is surrounded by a loose stone spread. Three irregular flags on the top of the cairn appear to be recent additions. Also associated are ‘Tobernafiaghanta’ holy well (CL010-026001-) and another penitential station (CL010-026002-) c. 45m to the ENE, along with three more penitential cairns (CL010-026007-, CL010-026008- and CL010-026009-) located c. 60m to the SW. Further away (c. 450m to NE) is another alignment (ENE-WSW) of four penitential cairns (CL006-140001-, CL006-140002-, CL006-140003- and CL006-140004-) with a fifth cairn (CL006-140005-) c. 90m to their S.
