On a slight rise with good views over lower ground from NW-SE, and with an enclosure (CL010-014----) c. 20m to the SW. A roughly circular enclosure (int. diams. 17m N-S; 15m E-W) is defined by an earth and stone bank which is best preserved at W (Wth 5m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.7m) but is much reduced in size NNE-ESE where it abuts a roadside fence. The ground level outside the enclosing bank at N drops sharply (ext. H 1.7m). The interior slopes down towards the W and is overgrown WSW - WNW.
