On a gentle S-facing slope in an area of improved pasture within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). An irregular, almost pentagonal enclosure (c. 13m N-S; c. 10m E-W) defined by a grassed-over stone wall visible on Digital Globe (2011-2013) and on OSi orthophotography (MapGenie 2013-2018). A cashel (CL009-059021-) lies c. 110m to the NE.
