On a gently undulating karst plateau in rough pasture, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-001001-). A subcircular enclosure (c. 74m NW-SE; c. 70m E-W) defined by a mound wall visible on Digital Globe (2011-2013) and on OSi orthophotography (MapGenie 2013-2018). A contemporary wall curves away to NE at N and a later stone-walled enclosure overlies the W perimeter. Another enclosure (CL009-223----) lies c. 90 m to the NE and a cashel (CL009-001017-) lies c. 200m to the SE.
