What is recorded here

At the edge of a gentle SW-facing slope in pasture, with the ground immediately to the SW falling (H c. 5m) into a basin. Within a multiperiod field system (CL009-255---). This sub-circular enclosure (int. dims. c. 21.6m ENE-WSW; c. 19m NNW-SSE; ext. dims. 24.9m ENE-WSW; 22m NNW-SSE) is defined by the remains of a grassed-covered stone wall (Wth 1.9m at SSE; int. H 0.1-0.2; ext. H 0.2-0.4m), the outer face of which is visible from SE to SW. Elsewhere, the perimeter is defined by occasional stones and short sections of wall. Several later drystone walls extend from the enclosure boundary between SSW and WNW. There is a fulacht fia (CL009-145002-) c. 60m to the SSE.
