What is recorded here

Situated in the E centre of a cashel (CL009-206001-). A souterrain (L 2.6m; Wth 0.9-1.08m; present H 0.9m), oriented NNE-SSW with an entrance at the N end. From here an unroofed section of the passage (L c. 2m) extends to the S, followed by a covered section with six roof lintel stones in place, over which smaller stones are heaped. The S end of the passage is blocked by rubble. The walls are made from small stones with no corbelling and the base of the wall on the E side is bedrock.
