On a gentle S-facing slope, with land immediately to the S sloping steeply into a shallow E-W valley. In rough pasture, briars and blackthorn, and within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). This large rectangular cashel (int. dims. 60m E-W; 34m N-S) is defined by a collapsed stone wall (Wth 4-5m; int. H 0.8-1m; ext. H 0.8-1m). The outer wall-face is visible at the NW corner, where there is a line of large upright slabs (each L 1m; H 1m; T 0.25m). At the NE edge of the interior there is a souterrain (CL009-203002-). Throughout the interior there are also several later features defined by drystone wall remnants (Wth 0.6-1.2m; H c. 0.6m), including a rectangular house site (int. dims. 5.3m E-W; 5m N-S) in the SW corner. Another cashel (CL009-059030-) lies c. 95m to the NE.
