On a broad plateau in rough pasture, with a NNE-SSW ravine c. 50m to the E. Within a multiperiod field system (CL009-255---). This circular burial cairn (10.4m N-S; 9.5m E-W; max. H c. 1m at SE) is composed of limestone rocks. Just NW of the centre there is a cist (CL009-200002-). A curving line of six non-contiguous kerbstones (av. dims. L c. 0.4m; H 0.25-0.35m) borders the E side of the cist at a distance of 0.85-1.2m. If continued around the W side of the cist, this line of stones would form an oval kerb (est. diam. c. 3.6-4m). In the N part of the cairn there is a line (L 2.1m) of small upright flagstones, perhaps lodged in a gryke.
