On a gentle E-facing slope on limestone pavement under thin grass cover, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). This fulacht fia comprises a grass-covered stony oval mound (9.9m N-S; 5m E-W; H 0.2-0.3m) which is highest at the W. The mound overlies a wide natural channel, oriented N-S. A drystone wall runs over the S part of the mound. There is a cashel (CL009-059058-) c. 104m to the W.
