On low-lying bare limestone pavement, gently sloping to the S and SW, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-030001-). This circular cairn (diam. 6m; H 1.1m) is covered by a thin layer of moss and scrub. It does not appear to be ancient, and may be a clearance cairn. There is a small loose cairn immediately to the E.
A cashel (CL009-040001-) lies c. 70m to the S and an enclosure (CL009-040002-) lies c. 88m to the SSE.
