On a broad hilltop in rough pasture, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). Listed as ‘Cemetery cairn’ in the RMP (1996). Identified by Paul Walsh and Tom Coffey (SMR file) as a grass-covered circular cairn (5.5m N-S; 5m E-W; H c. 0.5m) which may have a kerbstone (H 0.2m) at the SW. Two cists (CL009-163002- and CL009-163003-) were visible in the centre of the cairn. Not found on inspection in 1997 but visible on Aerial Premium (2013-2018). An enclosure (CL009-164001-) lies c. 25m to the E and a cashel (CL009-059097-) lies c. 37m to the S. Compiled by: Mary Tunney and Conn Herriott Date of upload: 5 July 2022
