On the W side of a stream in a flat-bottomed valley surrounded by cliffs (H c. 15m) and opening to the SW, in rough pasture within a large multiperiod field system (CL005-160001-). Identified by Tom Coffey in 1996 (SMR file). This fulacht fia comprises an oval mound (4.9m NE-SW; 3.7m NW-SE; H 0.3-1m) of heat-shattered stones covered by thin sod. The mound may have originally extended c. 5m further to NE, where there is a concentration of small stones in the ground surface.
There is a cashel (CL009-053007-) c. 115m to the E and a holy well (CL009-053008-) c. 155m to the NE.
