What is recorded here

On level ground in an area of rough pasture, hazel growth and exposed limestone pavement. A possible enclosure is indicated on the 1897 OS 25-inch plan and 1920 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a roughly subrectangular field (c. 24m ENE-WSW; c. 19m N-S) with a field wall extending off it at W. Its depiction is similar to that of a cashel (CL009-102001-) c. 235m to its ENE. This area has been cleared and no visible remains survive; piles of broken bedrock are visible around the edge of the clearing.
