Located in the N sector of the interior of a rath (CL009-100002-), this souterrain (L 5m) is orientated N-S. Its S traceable extent is indicated by a roof lintel embedded in the ground surface. Another lintel (Wth 0.88m) is visible 2.8m to its N. It appears to be supported by corbels and from here a roofed section of the passage (L 2.2m) is visible, extending N to the backwall. This wall appears to have collapsed, at least in part, and beyond it, what appears to be an animal den is visible. A cavity in a poached area of the outer face of the inner bank of the rath may be the other end of the den (L 2.15m).
